A proven track record

A journalism graduate from the Institute of Political Sciences in Grenoble, France, Philippe Riboton made his mark in his native country as a journalist before moving into business as the Associate Partner in an advertising agency in Paris.

Upon relocating to the Czech Republic, Mr Riboton founded The Prague Tribune, a bilingual business and lifestyle magazine which he operated as publisher from 1993 until 2005. Filled with insightful information and useful resources for a "new business generation" in the post-communist environment, the magazine maintained a loyal readership during its 12-year run, due to a renown for respectable journalism and editorial integrity.

Mr Riboton's background in recruitment and HR services began in 1994, when he co-founded the Prague-based agency Synergie Recruitment, becoming Managing Director of the firm's Czech and Slovak branches. He ran the agency successfully until 2005, during which time he handled major assignments in sectors that included Banking & Finance, IT & Telco, Production & Industry, and Sales & Marketing. His firm's services ranged from contingency based recruitment of employees to Executive Search of management teams for companies such as French retail chain Carrefour (in the Czech and Slovak Republics), Nestlé (Czech Republic) or PSA-Peugeot Citroen (in Slovakia).

A former member of the board of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce in Prague, Mr Riboton moderated numerous conferences and speaker's lunches with guests of honor that included Vaclav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman or Jiri Paroubek (former prime ministers of the Czech Republic) among others.

Mr Riboton is 47 years old and has two children.
