Commercial Manager (Mobile Communications), Bucharest (Romania)

You are a senior business development professional who has already led commercially the introduction of a new brand on the national level. As part of the start-up team of our client, you will lead the market introduction of one of the most exciting brands in Romania next year. Showing determination, strong negotiation skills, persuasion with commercial partners – coupled with high professionalism and unique leadership, you will get a chance to write one of the most interesting business stories of the year.

The project

Our client is a fast-growing company in the area of mobile communications and is building a commercial and marketing team in order to support the launch of a global brand targeting the Romanian consumer, and especially the younger segment of consumers.

Therefore we are currently looking for an experienced, self-assured and robust Commercial Manager with the knowledge of launching a brand new product on the national level.

You will be entirely responsible for approaching, negotiating and contracting with all future distribution channels of the brand across Romania (distributors, retailers, etailers, operators etc …).

Your responsibilities

Translate the company’s vision into a local sales and key account management strategy for the Romanian market.
Projecting and forecasting expected sales volumes, monitoring supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competition.
Define the right value proposition for commercial partners as well as end consumers.
Work with regional teams on the commercial strategy (go to market planning and execution, sales channel development).
Develop and expand sales through a wide variety of sales channels (retailers, etailers, operators …), key account management.
Management of retail channels ensuring best in class customer experience.
Overall P&L management of the business.

Key qualifications

University graduate, preferably with business, marketing or economics degree.
Fluent Romanian and fluent English (verbal and written).
Relevant professional experience of at least eight years in key account management or sales management in a multinational company operating in Romania.
Experience from telecommunications or consumer electronics would be considered an advantage.
